Yes, High Banks is home of the now 2nd place state record 54lb. 0oz. muskie (with a length of 56 inches and a girth of 27.8 inches), caught by Art Lions in 1957! The record was just broken in 2021 on Mille Lacs Lake. Learn more about our history here.

The Lodge

​The historic lodge originating in 1929 brims with northwoods charm and character. Gift shop, arcade, restaurant and cocktail bar are a few of the popular amenities. Also boasting a beautiful handcrafted stone gas fireplace, perfect for gathering with friends and family.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are served up daily. We invite you to stop by and chat a bit, catch up on the latest fish stories. We also serve hand scooped ice cream cones.

Marina
Our valet boat launching service is second to none. We launch your boat for you and at the end of the day we pull the boat for you. It is parked by the cabin each night for your convenience. At the marina we also have gas and oil available along with a full selection of fresh bait.
