Deep Water Walleyes

A combination of warming water and the extreme clarity of the water has sent to the walleyes deep in the trough’s between Winnies’ mid-lake sunken islands. The most successful approach has been rigging with leeches in depths between 26-32 feet of water. The pike, and perch bite has been consistent, with many of the numbers coming from Three Sisters, and Plughat Bay. Surface water temperature on Winnie are hovering right under 70 degrees.
