CABIN # 1

Cabin #1 is a full log cabin that was built in the early 1930's by members of CCC Camp here in the Chippewa National Forest. It is situated on the ridge and has spectacular views of Lake Winnibigoshish. It contains a beautiful fireplace and spacious floor plan of 672 sq feet for your year round enjoyment.

Accommodating up to 12 people with:

Two sets of bunk beds in the four season room(2 double/2twins). Two pull out couches in the main room (2 doubles) and one set of single bunk beds (2 twins).

3/4 Bath with 36" shower stall

Propane heat is the main heating system for this cabin.

Known as the "Foxes Den". This cabin contains rustic charm at its' finest. Original logs provide a Northwood's ambiance. The cabin is completely equipped with all of the kitchen necessities and microwave/toaster/coffee maker. Homemade quilts and comfy linens are also provided.
